Katya and Daniel got married at the Fairmont San Francisco this summer, and we at Fairy Tale Photography were honored to capture many of the memories from their day! Below are our favorite highlights from the album!
First of all, Katya’s wedding gown was the showstopper of showstoppers. That lace! That skirt! Paired with those diamonds? Did we mention the ring?? What a darling.
Their first look was sweet and adorable, and revealed so much about why they’re perfectly suited to each other…
Their wedding colors were a stunning combination of pinks, golds, and all the colors in-between. With cute DIY items scattered throughout their venue–that record player with signable records as their guest book, to name just one brilliant item!–there was beauty and creativity everywhere we looked. To a photographer, this is a DREAM COME TRUE! What a joy it was to be a part of Katya and Daniel’s union. Congratulations!

Lindsay and Timmy had a weekend wedding at the Fairmont San Jose with both a Western wedding and a traditional Indian Wedding! We were so excited and honored to be their wedding photographers, as it allowed us to photograph unique events and learn about a very fascinating and beautiful culture. You can check out the blogpost featuring their Western wedding here.
We love their stunning, bright wedding colors of pink, gold, blue, and traditional burgundy. One thing that both surprised and delighted us was how many outfits the couple wore for their wedding weekend of events! They really put Western Wedding outfits to shame with simple black and white…
Take a look at that pink, gold and blue back drop! Like, what? Why can’t western weddings have decor like this? What a beautiful idea! The pillows for lounging on the floor are cute and fun as well! We ADORE how henna is incorporated into the Bride’s traditional outfit, and how there is a ceremony specifically for the application of henna the night before their wedding. The jewelry and layers of the traditional Sari that Lindsay wore were heavy, but so elaborate and beautiful!
An Indian wedding is very family-focused, with their dedication to seamlessly joining both families together through the celebration of marriage. Through the combination of a Western and Traditional Indian wedding to honor both the Bride and Groom’s family backgrounds, their entire family was able to celebrate with their own culture as well as learn about the other’s. We at Fairy Tale Photography felt it was a very pure and family-honoring way to celebrate Timmy and Lindsay’s union. What a beautiful weekend for everyone!

Timmy and Lindsay had a beautiful wedding at the Fairmont in San Jose this September, and we at Fairy Tale Photography had the honor of covering their Wedding Photography! We loved learning about why Timmy and Lindsay are perfect for each other by watching them interact throughout the wedding day, and by the end we were head-over-heels with their love story! There was so much about their wedding day that we loved, such as Lindsay and her bridesmaids’ matching robes and slippers, Timmy’s personalized cuff links with the wedding date on them, the personalized stickers on the bottom of Lindsay’s heels… the list goes on! We loved the location of their ceremony, on the top of a sunny hill with the stunning gazebo, and rose petals sprinkled down both sides of the wedding aisle! Timmy’s reaction to Lindsay walking down the aisle says it all, and his care as he wipes tears from his bride’s eyes during their vows is precious. It is moments like these that I feel so privileged to witness and capture on film. Their “Mint To Be” wedding favors were so darn cute! We can’t handle it. Notice the specific care that has gone into every detail of their reception, from the unique shimmering banquet table linens to their gold Chiavari chairs. The carpeting in the reception hall is perfect for their table set up as well! We loved their pink, white and silver candy bar, with the adorable pink candy bags, serving as extra favors for guests! This wedding was a gourgeous stunner, and we are so excited about how the photos turned out! Take a look below.

Fairy Tale Photography recently had the opportunity to photograph an event at a venue in Dallas, Texas, called The Dragon on Hall. It was a beautiful venue with much to offer those looking for wedding or event spaces. Scroll down to check out the scenic atmosphere of this place!
Inside, there are some tastefully-decorated rooms for getting ready, if you’re a bride or groom, or just for lounging and chatting with guests, if you’re hosting an event.
A spacious, well-lit room for dining is available–we loved the floors, with their shimmering gold look.
There is also a stage where musicians can serenade your guests. The huge reception pavilion has plenty of room for banquet tables and chairs. We are loving those Chiavari Chairs!
We ADORED all of the the fun lighting options available through this venue’s light-system. Purple, Pink, Blue, you name it.
P.S., their food is STUNNING. Would you look at these apps? Super fun, and even tastier than they look.
This was seriously such a fun atmosphere to be a part of, and we were honored to document this event! If you’re interested in hosting an event here too, check out The Hall On Dragon here!
Ashley and Raycham got married in January of 2017, and we at Fairy Tale Photography had the privilege of capturing their intimate Wedding Photography at Ashton Gardens in Texas. It was so fun to get to see Ashley and Raycham’s personalities shine throughout the getting-ready process and during their heartfelt vows. Ashley and Raycham have been a couple for over 11 years, and it was beautiful to witness their union. We are proud to support the LGBTQ movement by documenting their same-sex wedding for them to remember forever.
I loved the blues and greens in their decor, accented with delicate silvers and crystals, and how they came through in the photos below. Each detail was so personalized and special–down to the fun signage they included.
Raycham and Ashley’s dresses also both came from different shops, and they suit them so perfectly!
Ashton Gardens is a stunning venue with beautiful natural lighting and lots of tastefully designed open space. Their staff is always accommodating, and with the rest of Ashley and Raycham’s vendors, we all worked together as an awesome team! Check out the complete vendor list below!

Krista and Kyle’s wedding day at the Old Red Museum in Dallas, TX was a STUNNER! I was so impressed with how whimsy but elegant their decor and wedding get-up was. Let me tell ya, the more unique you get with your details, the more fun I get to have with your pictures! All those succulents, the sparkle and bling, and your outgoing personalities really made for a beautiful album, not to mention a magnificent day! Congratulations, you two!

Santhra and Bobby picked two of my favorite locations in San Francisco, California for their Engagement Session! My mother and I used to have tea in the gardens on Tuesdays when I was a little girl and going back there to capture great memories for someone else was such a treat. Cannot wait to see their wedding photos in Texas this June!!!
Justin and Nyshele met at 15 years old and instantly bonded over a common love- baseball. This couple stands out so much to us, the way they are with each other… there is no doubt that they will live a long and happy life, always putting the other first. The couple is from Las Vegas but wanted a destination wedding, 130 friends and family celebrated at Leoness Cellars. Located in Temecula Valley, the enchanting venue is bright and comfortable. Vibrant greens of harvest season paired with a s’mores bar are the perfect features for an outdoorsy couple! Pops of red roses, dancing on a cloud, and late-night burgers really made Justin and Nyshele’s day stand out! Check out the “first look” with the bridesmaids!!!!

Fairy Tale Photography had the pleasure of shooting at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the historical Westin San Jose for Daniel and Jennifer’s special day! Their elegance matched the Westin’s to create a stunning wedding. This venue exudes luxury and sophistication with historical features that only enhance its beauty and charm. The timeless hotel provided a classic backdrop for this couple’s wedding reception photos that they’ll cherish forever! We especially loved the night shots at the park across the street, such great backdrops.
